What I Call Tips for Corporate Hustling #3 - Do not entertain haters!
If you have a hater today, you'll have a hater tomorrow! Haters are good at what they do and the reason is because they spend a lot of time doing it! Like anything you spend a lot of time doing, it becomes second nature to perfection. This should be good news for those who are worried about their haters. This is a sign that a hater can not be any good at much in life because they spend so much time hating on you and others. When would they have time to perfect their own craft if they are too busy worrying about the next person? NEVER!
NOTE: Most haters are people that are failing or on the verge of failing!
It's important for me to set the tone in anything I work on. As a leader, I set an example of how my positive outlook and the way I treat people helps me get further in life. This doesn't mean I'm exempt from screwing up from time to time because after all I am only human. This just means that I get back what I put out in life. I stay focused, work hard at what I do and ignore the haters. I pay attention long enough to a hater to acknowledge that I should stay far away from them! Whether it's an old friend that is mad because they aren't going anywhere in life or someone who was doing what I do and still aren't making the moves I am making with regard to business, I want nothing to do with these negative people.

Once you understand the importance of building relationships and not destroying, you will be rubbing elbows with the best of the best. This happens only when you put your pride aside in situations and actually work well with others as a team. A smart business person forms strategic partnerships. A not so savvy business person will try to be selfish and do it own their own. Moving solo is great, but why not have a team to enhance your strengths and turn your weakness around for your advantage.
Your network of the best professionals around is imperative. Who are you going to go to when you need help if you burned all your bridges because you were hating? So haters stop trying plot against your the blessed. You will lose a lot less money and earn more if you used your positive energy to your advantage. Knowing people who are doing well or better than you is not such a bad thing so get over it.
To all successful people in the making, when a hater tries to stall your movement, somehow you will you end up propelling even further along in life as if it were destined. Not to mention, if you keep the faith and believed that God has blessed you to do anything your heart desires and be successful at it anyway, it will happen.
Keep focused, centered and balanced. This way, you never have the time to really worry about a hater anyway because you are too busy pushing forward. The only sefish acts I condone are ones to better yourself. Even with a broken down car (the economy) waiting for someone to bring you fuel (the stimulus package), keep going even if you were told help is on the way. Never give many chances to have people let you down. Besides, you will get ahead no matter what when you take matters into your own hands!

Simple.
